Valentine’s Day is in a couple weeks and I am pulling out every excuse I can to wear pink! About 5 years ago, I despised the bright & happy color… I’m still trying to figure out my logic and reasoning behind that one. How has it already been 4 weeks since winter break? Winter Teacher Outfit Roundup #4 is full of bright colors and pointy toed flats. Let the slow transition to spring begin!
MONDAY D E T A I L S
Sweater: Target (size xs) | Jeans: Gap (size 24 r) | Shoes: Nordstrom (size 7.5) | Lunchbox: Amazon – Kate Spade
Featured Teacher Staple: Every teacher needs a cute lunchbox! I am obsessed with this roomy and lightweight lunchbox from Kate Spade. It was really hard choosing which color or pattern I wanted. I’m not a heavy lunch packer, making this the perfect sized for someone who throws in Trader Joes meals and a la croix water. Besides Kate Spade, I love Old Navy’s paper bag style lunchboxes!
TUESDAY D E T A I L S
Dress: Old Navy (size xs r) | Jean Jacket: Target (size xs) | Shoes: Old Navy (size 7.5) | Watch: Animal Print | Necklace: Stella & Dot
Featured Teacher Staple: This white and black stripped dress is the perfect winter to spring transitional piece. Unlike most shift dresses from Old Navy, it’s a very thick, double layered material. I was worried when I ordered this on-line it would be spandexy. I’m 5’1 (AND A HALF) and ordered the petite as well. The petite was just a tad short for my taste.

WEDNESDAY D E T A I L S
Top: Target (size xs) | Jeans: Gap (size 24r) | Shoes: Dolce Vita (size 7.5) | Earrings: Here! | Ring: Here!
Featured Teacher Staple: I’m not even joking– this coral blouse is the best top I’ve ever purchased from Target. I received so many compliments on the color, the fit, the uniqueness. It’s only $24.99… I’ve brightened up my wardrobe a lot lately. I’ve realized the brighter my clothes, the happier my teaching is. This might be a mind over matter thing but hey! It’s working. Every teacher needs a fun, bright blouse to light up the lesson with. This blouse also comes in plus-size!

THURSDAY D E T A I L S
Sweatshirt: Target (not on-line yet) (size xs) – Similar | Joggers: Aritiza (size xxs) | Shoes: Old Navy (size 8) – Similar | Bag: Kate Spade – Amazon | Earrings: Nordstrom Rack
Featured Teacher Staple: Balloon sleeves are all the rave this winter to spring transition. 2017 was the start of fun sleeves and I’m thrilled 2018 is keeping the trend alive. I am a huge fan of balloon sleeve sweatshirts for a couple different reasons. They can be thrown on with jeans or dressed up with joggers. Sweatshirts are obviously warm, cozy, and comfy and now stylish! AND they create a fun silhouette project to do with your students 😉 I will be checking daily for this coral-red sweatshirt to be added onto target.com! In the meantime, it’s in stores for $19.99!

FRIDAY D E T A I L S
Top: Old Navy (size xs) | Jeans: Nordstrom Rack (size 24) | Shoes: Nordstrom Rack (size 7.5)
Featured Teacher Staple: Aside from cute teacher tee’s, t-shirts with cute or funny sayings is a wardrobe must. My shirt reads: Chocolate Understands. One student said, “no one understands you but chocolate? That’s cool!” My favorite every day t-shirts are 100% from Old Navy. They always have the cutest graphic tee’s that have a slim and girly fit. Usually you can buy them for under $10! In the spring, I love throwing my jean jacket over them and pairing them with white jeans.
