Fitting all of my belongings in one carry was an adventure in itself. Packing for 60 degree weather seemed complicated but mixing between dresses and jeans is workable. Arriving and seeing it was going to rain all week and the temperature had dropped 20 degrees each day… Priceless?
Definitely priceless! Because when your suitcase is already packed to the max, you don’t have the room to go shopping! I spent the entire plane ride sweating because I was bundled in multiple layers to make everything fit in my suitcase. As you can see, there weren’t many dresses worn in Italy (and by many I mean absolutely zero) and I legitimately wore the same jeans 5 days (currently in the washer as I type). But– I’ve had a ton of questions about about my fuzzy shoes from H&M and other items from my outfits. Jet Lagged Ashley has hopefully linked all the details correctly in my Italian Travels Outfit Round-up!

If you haven’t already ordered these amazing D’orsay flats… YOU HAVE TO! I walked over 25,000 miles around the uneven streets of Italy and didn’t have a SINGLE discomfort. If you’re a true half-sized person like me (my shoes… and my height) make sure you order these on-line! They only carry whole sizes in the store.
I wish I could find this jacket on-line. I bought this jacket from Old Navy 4 years ago for $8.99… I had totally forgotten about it until I went to grab my suitcase and it was stuffed in there with a couple other jackets. It felt like Christmas morning haha

I feel like this is definitely going to be a shoe post because of all the walking we did, but I am in love with these fuzzy gray slip-ons from H&M! THEY ARE SO SOFT!!!! They fit true to size and have an instant height growth upon slipping these lovely little things on. Did you guys ever own reallllly ugly slipon shoes from Vans in middle school? I had a brown and tan checkered pair that I wore almost every day of 8th grade… along with my Fendy t-shirt… Anyways, I’m just glad other stores revamped slip-ons because they’re so comfy cute!

This was my favorite Italian restaurant we went too. I instastoried it because it reminded me so much of Jessica from The Magnolia Teacher. This lipstick from MAC lasts over 6 hours and survived my slurpy self scarfing down my seafood something rather pasta. It’s well wroth the $21! I bought this sweater from Target along time ago… but the new one I linked is SOO cute. It’s a slightly lighter gray and I might have to order it tomorrow….

The fact that these Halogen laced-up flats are still not linked on-line is hurting my heart. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I’ve been checking the rack every day.

Does anyone else speed shop through the children’s section? HAND RAISED! I’m guilty… and I bought this shirt at the train station from some super expensive Italian store for only 19 Euros… The adult version was 60!? I’m so confused by that! Again with the shoes– SOO COMFORTABLE. I’m impressed with the comfort level of all my Old Navy Shoes lately.

This was the balcony of our hotel room in Rome. We stayed at a small hotel called Window on Rome and had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. It’s in an apartment building, totally immersed in the city, with the sweetest Italian husband and wife owners. The best part other than this view was they had FREE SNACKS that they would restock every day… I wish I could remember what these nutella cracker breaking cookie things were called… SOO GOOD.

I’ve had a lot of questions about my favorite part of my trip. My history loving, nerd self, loved every single wet minute I spent at the Colosseum. I’m still having a hard time wrapping my head around all the history that I walked around.
I’m so thankful I brought this lightweight rain jacket from Target. It surprisingly kept me dry and warm the entire time. It has the cutest little peplum like pop.

I’m not usually one to wear beanies but I did and I’ve officially joined the fan club. I’ve still got a case of the giggles for all the dresses I thought I was going to wear. I’m not one of those “bloggers” who buys something, wears it for 80 seconds to get a picture, and takes it off… but I honestly debated it in Italy haha BUT ALL MY CUTE DRESSES!!!!!!!!!! My thought every morning when getting ready. I couldn’t pull myself to do it… so… Here are the cutest dresses that are currently hanging in my closet that the evil weather Gods prevented me from wearing LOL…
I want to start planning my next trip– I don’t know where too! Where has been you favorite place to travel?
