There’s something about polka dots that always put a smile on my face. It might have something to do with the first time I met Minnie Mouse at Disneyland when I was five. After being terrified by Donald Duck, I ran right into Minnie’s arms… the things we are afraid when we are children can be so strange, ha! Behind pops of bright pink, polka dots are my favorite spring 2018 fashion trend. There are so many cute polkas out there… I don’t even know what to do!
Jumpsuits
These polka dot jump suits can be worn to work and straight to happy hour!
Dresses
Is there anything better than cute little polkas on a fun and flowey spring dress? You can throw on your favorite jean jacket or pair with rain boots for the perfect spring showers outfit.
Tops
Sleeves are huge this spring (literally) and so is the range of polka dot sizes! How cute are all these teacher ready spring tops? Pair any of these tops with a little pop of bright pink for a preppy chic finish!
Bottoms
These bottoms take polka dots to a whole new level! I need both of these skirts ASAP. I have so many solid color blouses and tops that can be mixed and matched with any of these bottoms.

Because why not go all in at this point? Polka dots look great on everything from notebooks to rain boots!
Kate Spade made polka dots timeless but this season has made everything polka dot! I can’t wait to add some of these pieces to my teacher wardrobe. I want to buy all the dresses but I think I need to be realistic and go with the rain boots. It’s basically raining the entire month of April this year… #SeattleProblems! Thankfully we only have indoor recess if it’s thunder and lightening but that means I will be adventuring out into the rainy wilderness.
