Blue might be one of the only colors where you can wear 50 different shades and it still looks good. Sky blue, dusty blue, and the Monday blues have taken over the racks. When staring blankly into your closet & thinking ugh what am I going to wear today? pull out your favorite blue piece and pair it with another for the perfect 50 shades of blue teacher outfit!
One thing I love about the color blue is pops of (insert any color) looks just as good as realizing all your students put their chairs up at the end of the day. I could have paired these lovely ginghams with any shoe color but opted for my little suede tangerines. The decision between tangerine and bright pink was a bit more complicated than you might think.
Can we talk about tucking shirts into pants for a second? Does anyone else find this task daunting? I love the look when I’m standing in the mirror, but the minute I reach for a high five or change the date on my whiteboard, the lopsided tuck appears. I’ve thought about creating a onesie type concoction to meet my tucking needs.
Kind of like suspenders for shirts?
Depending on the day I spend an extra 3 minutes trying to tuck my shirt back in correctly… or sometimes I put my hands up, play my song in my head (right now it’s The Middle by Zedd), and walk by to my classroom.
Does anyone else have a tucking problem? I’m going to start seeking solutions. If that means I have to develop a prototype, I’m in!
