oh, helllllllo!
It’s my FAVORITE time of year– 30 degrees and blue skies! My heart’s desire to wear everything tropical and bright has already started but I know I have to hold off for a couple more months (unless it has to do with a children’s book!)
Speaking of children’s books, can we just read them all day every day? I’m currently buried in piles of IEP progress reports, behavior intervention plans, IEP writing, and well… the daily teaching and brave advocating. My free time has officially diminished + i’m holding on by my raw hem jeans.
I haven’t been to the mall in months and it’s slightly overwhelming to sort through all these new arrivals it’s way too cold to wear. That’s where my new found love for Stitch Fix comes in!
I’ve partnered with We Are Teachers + Stitch Fix to share with you a teachers dream style box to help close at least one tab in our one hundred and sixty-seven open tabbed brains of ours! Hey– we’ve gotta start somewhere!
Stitch fix is an online clothing subscription that sends personalized boxes of teacher style to your doorstep! My box came with 5 stylish items, within my price range, and perfectly ready to be styled with my existing pieces! I absolutely LOVE that it came with a how to style guide! I definitely took some tips 🙂
Being February, my box came with a winter to spring transition color palette and included high-quality items that blend perfectly into my teacher and off-duty wardrobe! The least expensive item was the earrings at $35 and the most expensive item were the jeans at $78. Everything else ranged from $35-50 and totally worth it! Here’s how I styled my 5, personalized items!
Polly Two Pocket Cardigan + Dulce Short Sleeve Knit Top
Both this sweater + top came in my stitch fix! I love that I was able to wear the two pieces together and separately. To be honest, I’ve been wary of criss-cross tops but I am loving the way this one fits + how easy it was to style!
Jamie Striped Contrast Trim Pullover
A pink trimmed sweater? Please + thank you! During the personalization process, you fill out a lot of information that allows Stitch Fix to send you items that actually fit. No joke– every single item in this box fit perfectly! Not too big or too small! I’m impressed… especially because I’m a short human!
Lena Released Hem Skinny Jean
These jeans = AMAZING. Very, very rarely do I receive a pair of jeans that don’t have to be hemmed. THESE THOUGH! No hemming needed. Stitch Fix includes petite styles for shorties like me!
Chloe Small Stud Earrings
*insert happy dance* another pair of every day studs to add to my collection. I only have 2 pairs of every day studs and sometimes I feel repetitive wearing the same earrings over and over. The struggle is real because I feel naked if I don’t have earrings on my ear (same way about nail polish… well more like a 9 year old boy but…) I love these little studs!
Polly Two Pocket Cardigan
For some bizarre reason, I struggle with finding cardigan’s I love. Sure, I have 3-4 that I like… but this one I LOVE! Perfect length, the arms don’t need to be rolled… Cardigan heaven for days! It’s the perfect length to wear with a dress, work pants, or a jean skirt.
Honest Review
It’s worth it. For the quality of products, personalization, and simplicity of the service, it really is a teachers dream. Depending on what type of items you need in your closet, you can personalize for work, going-out, vacation, you name it!
I will be continuing my subscription during the school year and probably pause during summer… or maybe I won’t… but for now, I’m already excited for my next box!
