nordstrom anniversary sale: splurge on the sale or save on dupes?

There are one hundred and one insane sales going on right now! I was laying in bed yesterday morning wishing my apple tree had hundo dollar bills growing on it! My investigative spirit had to google what is money made out of? I’m shocked. COTTON AND LINEN FIBER? So money and clothes are basically the same thing? WHAT. Mind blown.

I’m tempted to google: why on earth is amazon, target, and nordstrom all having their big sales at the same exact time? Don’t they know I would spend way more money if the sales were spread out? *insert head shake* Don’t they know I’m a teacher and only get paid once a month? Maybe it’s a good thing they are all at the same time? No… No it’s not. It’s going to take a lot to convince me it is.

Back on track! When I was obsessing over all the cute items I can’t afford, it hit me: CAN I FIND SOMETHING SIMILAR FOR MUCH CHEAPER? The answer? Heck yes I can! I am loving these 8 items from the Nordstrom sale but loving that these dupes are basically identical and WAY CHEAPER! I’m not always the most logical person, but this basically tells me you can shop the Nordstrom sale without actually shopping the Nordstrom sale (insert smirking emoji)… If you’re feeling like me– check out these super cute dupes or try googling items that are similar to the ones you’re obsessing over!
