It feels a little uncomfortable veering away from all my jaguar print to add some snakeskin into the mix! I’m likin’ the style way more than I thought I would. I seriously need to capture my face when I’m browsing the trends from the runway. Every season I’m starring at my computer like Chandler when he didn’t know which one of Joey’s sisters he expressed his affection with. Awkward, mortified, and incredibly confused lol.
I always start my style risk-taking in subtle pieces before I fully commit to a rockin’ a new trend. Fun flats or mules are my typical go-to when venturing into the new print realm. Old Navy changed the cut of their D’orsay flats and they couldn’t be more comfortable. I wore these for 4 hours the other day to break them in… A typical process when I get new flats. The breaking-in wasn’t necessary at all. I was so happy with how they fit, I ordered another pair in the taupe/nude color. Is there anything better than finding comfortable shoes for under $30? These flats are way more comfortable than my Tory Burch’s that are hiding away in the back of my closet.
Anyone else reading this have an extreme love/hate relationship with any type of bottom from Old Navy? Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don’t. I order the same size every time. These might be the best fitting jeans I’ve ever tried on, from any store. I immediately looked to see what type of jean they were from Old Navy. YOU GUYS. I THINK I’ve FOUND WHY MY JEANS OR PANTS FROM OLD NAVY ARE ALWAYS FITTING CONSISTENT. It really depends on the “fit” so when you’re buying jeans from Old Navy, make sure you get the “fit” you like. The only “fit” of jeans I’m going to buy from Old Navy going forward are the: High-Rise Secret-Slime Pocket jeans. The High-rise Rockstars in the same size fit me totally differently. This fit is a petite (or short) person’s jam! I’m wearing 0 petite and they fit me perfectly.
This sweater is the same style as the navy and polka dot sweater I shared in my instastories earlier in the week! It was delivered so fast! I’m also going to be starting the school year using Target’s amazing teacher worthy backpack. To read more about this bag and other great teacher bag finds, click here!
Aside from fashion talk- I’ve successfully trained my pups to go into their creates for two rounds of “quiet time” each day, ha! I was going crazy having them out and about all day. The things those two boys get into…. nothing was safe. All I have to say is, “okay guys, it’s quiet time!” and they both run into their beds… I gave them some treats during our intensive training session last week… but the behavior has officially been generalized. WOOH to not having to stress about one of your dogs eating your macbook charger that is stored safely away in a cabinet… Buckley…. always so nasty, ha.
