Mesa Rock, rust brown, dark orange, warm hickory, or which ever other name this adobe orange is called… It is official! The beautiful warm shade of adobe orange is staying through winter! Keep all the warm shades flowing in your teacher outfit rotation. Along with all the other warm shades with olive and gray being two of the foundational colors. This post was the first time in a very long time that I actually googled a seasonal trend colors. Makes my heart so happy.
The slow and steady pace of building back better-ish is coming along.
I have been buying (and returning what doesn’t fit) all the things in adobe orange. When I realized fall was almost over, I almost shifted my current color palette favorites– not anymore! I’ve been wearing adobe in all the ways… but the four styles below are hands down my favorite.
#1 Midi dress style
dress: old navy (x-small, petite) | booties: target (7.5, true to size)
I don’t know if it’s because I’m thirty-one or what but midi’s are the only type of dress I seem to be wearing these days. This is true even before the temperatures began to drop. I think I’m officially getting old. I almost wore this dress for the pictures Luke and I took but decided with jeans instead. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
#2 mixed in prints
OUTFIT #1
sweater: h&m (x-small) | pants: shein (x-small) | shoes: target (7.5, true to size) | lanyards: amazon
OUTFIT #2
sweater: target (x-small) | jeans: loft (24, petite) | shoes: old navy (size, 7.5) | rings: target
#3 solid tops
top: shein (small) | jeans: gap (24, regular) | booties: nordstrom, similar
#4 on bottom
