Well hello, August. We meet again.
Just like that teachers are posting their first day of school pics or their 30 day countdowns! I’m on the 30 day countdown track… although let’s be real, it’s more like 3 weeks with all the professional development and planning meetings that are coming up. We did plan a last minute trip to Hawaii in two weeks that I’m frantically on-line shopping for. I ordered about 50 things from SheIn. I can’t wait to let you all know how that goes! It’s always so hit or miss but the quality (and prices) seem to have increased!
I am lovin’ all the warm tones + prints for this fall. For our first back-to-school shopping guide, I wanted to focus on mix-and-match pieces. One of my goals this year is buying more pieces that can be effortlessly mix-and-matched and not feel like I’m wearing the same outfit over and over. It’s hard to put outfits together during the school year, ha! Especially when we’re in the trenches of it all.
All of the items are under $40 + are in stock (at least as of this minute!) What is your favorite mix-and-match style look? Check them out below!
This fall floral dress is the perfect back-to-school dress. It’s got a good length, accounts for the transitional fall weather, and can be dressed up or dressed down!
A teacher closet staple– comfortable black slacks! Talk about something that can be worn over and over again. You can literally wear any color with them and any style shoe. These beauts hit right at the ankle which allows for all your fun heels or booties to be seen!
Ordering these blush joggers ASAP. I preciously ordered the cream floral top + can’t wait to wear it. These joggers look dressy, comfortable, and are only $17.99. They come in 3 more colors… BRB while I add these to my shopping bag!
This free and flowly midi-skirt can be paired just as easily as black pants. I love the brown button detail– it let’s us easily style the skirt with even the warmest of shades. The versatility between casual and dressy makes this skirt a must-have in your teacher closet!
Yay for fall fashion! What is your favorite thing about fall? I definitely love big sweaters + football! Go Seahawks 😉
