My Black Friday + Cyber Monday packages have been arriving like crazy! For the most part, I was shopping for others…but with the deals Old Navy and Gap was having, I couldn’t resist. I have a tendency to over buy when on-line shopping because I know there’s a 100% chance some items will need to be returned. Unfortunately, this time around, I loved almost every thing and am being faced with some hard return decisions… I hate when this happens, ha!
popover shirt dress: old navy (x-small) | rain boots: nordstrom rack (7.5)
I’m 100% keeping this old navy popover shirt dress… and it’s one of those pieces I’m debating ordering in another pattern. The material is thicker than usual and doesn’t seem to wrinkle easily! I’m wearing a regular fit instead of petite and I love where it hits above the knee. There are six different plaid patterns + colors… it was so hard to choose. The green blue and purple plaid may be in my shopping cart soon….
sherpa vest: old navy (x-small p) | turtleneck: gap (x-small) | jeans: gap (24 r) | shoes: converse (7.5)
When I’m running errands, my black north face vest I bought my junior year of college is my go to sweatshirt/shirt throw over. Lately, i’ve been wishing it was a little more stylish and a little less puffy. This sherpa vest arrived on Friday and I’ve already worn it out of the house twice. It’s super thick, stylish, and versatile! I just looked and it’s on sale for $24… Looks like I’m ordering the cream! I’m 5’2 and ordered a petite– Old Navy’s outerwear is usually too big on me and the petite fits perfectly!
jacket: old navy (x-small petite) | shirt: old navy (x-small) | jeans: gap (24 r) | shoes: converse (7.5)
I’m struggling to decide if I should keep or return this sherpa coat! I like it, but I don’t love the fit on me. The style is adorable and I could pair this jacket with a ton of different outfits… but it’s a little boxy… which I love but it’s hard for me to pull off. This jacket was on the pricier side of Old Navy items and when it arrived I saw why. It feels and looks like a $200 jacket. It’s multi-lined with high quality materials, making the jacket super thick and durable. This jacket comes in a cream color as well!
dress: target (x-small) | shoes: old navy (7.5)
BEST $24.99 DRESS EVER. On Saturday, I wore this to one of my best friends holiday work party not realizing there was an Old Hollywood Theme but thankfully fit the dress code. There was definitely a lot of surprise when asked where my dress was from and I shared Target. This dress is perfect to wear to a holiday party! I wore it with these shoes and a leather jacket and it could honestly be worn teaching too! Love having me some versatile dresses in my closet!
sweatshirt: old navy (x-small) | turtleneck: gap (x-small) | jeans: gap (24 r) | shoes: converse (7.5)
You guys… the turtleneck under the sweatshirt trend is ACTUALLY SO CUTE. I first saw it in a J.Crew magazine a few weeks ago and I totally raised an eyebrow. No.More. I’ve been trying find more layering pieces and venture out of my typical winter style comfort zone… so glad I did! I need to find my bag of crew neck sweaters to style them with all my new turtle necks… 🙂
jumpsuit: gap (x-small p) | shoes: target (7.5)
I ordered this vamp red jumpsuit in hopes of finding an outfit to wear to my husbands companies holiday party in January. WIN!!! I. LOVE. THIS. JUMPSUIT! It arrived at my doorstep wrinkle free and fitting perfectly! The v-neck, while appearing deep, is actually really modest and fits my chest area conservatively. It could even be worn teaching! This jumpsuit comes in a black + white star pattern as well!
top: old navy (x-small) | jeans: gap (24 r) | shoes: old navy (7.5)
This is a GREAT long sleeved shirt. I’m 100% keeping and ordering in one or two more colors. I love the ruffled-hem for a couple different reasons… 1) it makes the top super easy to tuck… and 2) you can pull the hem up and have a loose fitting look! You can find this gem in 5 other patterns (including a few solid looks). I paired this with the sherpa vest when my mom and I got lunch this weekend!
I just realized I haven’t touched on these double button cigarette jeans and I need to! I’ve purchased 3 pairs of cigarette jeans from gap recently. I love the look soooo much! They are basically high-waisted skinnies except the pant hem aligns with the calve cut instead of tapering down to the ankle. They look a bit more professional for some reason and don’t feel as form fitting as tight as skinnies. I. LOVE. THEM!
vest: gap (x-small) | top: old navy (x-small) | jeans: gap (24 r) | shoes: converse (7.5)
I’m wearing one of my other pairs of cigarette jeans with this outfit! You can kind of see what I’m talking about in the ankle better 🙂
If you can’t tell by this post and my recent purchase, I couldn’t be happier with hot pink being one of this seasons winter colors! This vest is bomb.com and I love having another option when I’m not feeling like being so Meredith Gray with my black northface.
sweatshirt: old navy (x-small) | jacket: old navy (x-small p) | jeans: gap (24 r) | shoes: converse (7.5)
This long quilted bomber jacket really surprised me. When I added it in my cart I was all “okay fine… I’ll give it a try… it’s cyber monday…” you know– one of those pity like purchases, ha! Turns out I’m keeping it. Another thick and cozy jacket from Old Navy added to the closet -CHECK-! They’re killing it in the warmth department this season! I’m so prepared for the snow this year! Fingers crossed it actually knows!
I think I have a few more packages on the way… can’t wait to share those finds with you!
