Move over little black dress– this little cream and black floral print dress is taking over!
While aimlessly wandering around the aisles of Target, this little Blair Waldorf number caught my eye. It was one of those dresses that looks way better on than on the hanger… I liked the print but while hanging, it looked slightly like a potato bag… I tried it on anyways. One glance into those target mirrors and I knew I had to have it!
New Years Eve? Winter Wedding? TEACHING? Theatre event? Bridal shower? You can wear this dress for any occasion! I was going to wear it to a wedding but then heard the bridesmaids were wearing the same colors so I kept in stored away and saved for another event. My most loved part of this dress is it doesn’t easily wrinkle in your suitcase… not bad for under $40!
I don’t know if you saw yesterday on instagram, but I was working on a New Years Eve outfit post… by the sound of it… a lot of us are staying in on New Years Eve, including myself… so I’m going to be taking on a different lens with that today.
Speaking of today… I need to get going! Every year Nick and I spend Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day with his. This year, my brother and I were both super sick so we postponed our Christmas Eve celebration until today. Nick and I have a lot of cleaning to do…. but I’m so excited to see my mom and brother! They live on Whidbey Island which is only 40 minutes away, but during the school year, it’s so hard to muster up the energy to head over to the ferry and see them. That’s one thing I’m going to try really hard to work on in 2019.
Time to start cleaning, finishing a couple posts, and get ready to see my family tonight. Wishing you all a relaxing Saturday!
