Being back in my cute little mixed boho hippy conservative hometown has been bringing back so many warm vibes… if only the weather matched, ha. Every morning when I wake up for work the first thing I do is check the weather. I’ve been serving in a community support role as my new district roles out their hybrid learning program and needless to say it involves a lot of outside time… Rain boots and converse have been on a constant every other day rotation it feels like.
Mixed in with all of the rain gear, I keep feeling like i’m dressing super fall-y… but the warm tones of fall have carried over this year into the subtle earthy tones of boho style. I’m not going to lie, i’m pretty happy about it!
A realization I had recently was the difficulty in doing a teacher fashion blog during this time… because we aren’t all in the classroom… and life has drastically changed for us all. I’ve decided to try something new– mix in a variety of different styles within themes… for those of us who are in the classrooms, teaching at home, and doing hybrid. Linking finds, like in the boho warmth example above, may be a bit more all over the place… but hey… aren’t we all! Casual, dressier, zoom on… zoom off! I’m going to try to incorporate all the things! And pieces that can be mixed with new and old. Like my boho inspired, it’s not raining today outfit below 🙂 3 year old jeans… 1 year old earrings… and some teacher target style!
Question: for COVID teacher fashion… what would you like to see? Leave me a message in the comments 🙂
