Ehhh… see what I did there? By my students standards I would get to punch you… however, that is impossible and I haven’t punched anyone since high school (awkward but true)… seriously though, this game #needstoend lol
I need to add “attend New York Fashion Week” on the bucket list that I don’t actually have. I’ve been browsing all the spring trends and I’ve gotta say—the runway outfits are completely ridiculous. I’ve never thought too deeply about runway fashion. Since we’re on the topic—what is the point? People don’t actually wear runway clothes in real life… unless it’s to the Grammy’s!
I’m sitting here trying to figure it out. It’s got to be similar to the hook in a lesson right? A way to engage you into the learning outcome and content? So when the models are wearing color block boxes with peacock feathers and the trend is color block, the purpose is to make the trend known and stick… then when target and old navy release their lines, they are the way toned down version but you recognize the trend because you remember the peacock box? I don’t know… I’ll have to dive more into the purpose later J
I am loving this color block trend! This top from Old Navy is true to size and super soft and stretchy. It comes in a super cute sweatshirt too! Color blocking reminds me of legos… my brain is so strange, ha! I’m convinced that the because of the close resemblance to lego’s, our students are going to love all our color block pieces this season!
