This summer it’s been HOT + we don’t anticipate the weather cooling until October. I’ve been stocking up on fun floral shift dresses for the 2018-2019 school year.
Floral dresses can be worn year around– no matter the colors. Since the temperatures have been so high, my summer go to is a little floral dress with a pair of bright statement earrings. I’m already preparing for fall by looking out for lightweight cardigans for an easy throw over. I’m pretty stacked in the jean jacket department but the idea of adding some white denim is tempting.
During my first instagram bottom q+a, I had a lot of questions about teacher dresses. I admit, great teacher dresses are hard to come by. My absolute favorite place to by almost all my teacher dresses (and my floral shifts!) if from h&m. With out a doubt, these are my favorite. The most I’ve ever paid for a dress was $34.99! About half my teacher dresses were under $29.99 and have held up through the adventures of elementaryland.
In almost all h&m dresses, I wear a size 2 or x-small. The dresses look much shorter on the website because the majority of the models are over 5’8 and wearing a size 2 or 4. I would say more than not, the dresses are just right OR too long. I’ve never ordered a teacher dress from h&m and thought it was too short. I am so floral dress obsessed! Check-out my favorites below!
