I’m sitting here snowed in + admiring the spring 2019 shoe trends. I had to mentally tell my self to stop lovin’ all the cute shoes and start working on my post!
I feel like shoe trends have relatively stayed the same the last couple years. This year, however, is entirely different! Plastic pieces, sling backs, lots of braids– I’m loving every trend… especially that animal print + bright colors are still in style (my all time favorite!)

I’ve had a lot of questions lately about being a special education teacher + wearing heels. I shared some tips a while back (click here). The secret is wearing super chunky heels! I don’t notice a difference in wearing chunky heels + flats… I would never in a million years wear anything smaller than a 1.5 square inch heel to work… because that would result in a nightmare because I can’t walk in those to save my life, ha. Definitely wouldn’t be able to chase children if needed…
What are your favorite spring shoe trends? I’m excited/nervous to try the sling-backs… I have a feeling I’m going to be playing around to see how they work a lot!
