Sweater: Nordstrom Rack | Jeans: Target | Shoes: DSW
Would you rather lose your voice and go into work, but have to teach only using gestures and writing OR take a sick day and get a text message that your students were uncontrollably twerking because it started to snow?
Some of us are lucky enough to actually experience both of those– my Thursday and Friday!
Last weekend (and approximately 1.3 miles away from my house) was the grand opening of Nordstrom Rack and I swear it’s the best Nordstrom Rack I’ve ever walked into. It’s one of those, “YES!!!!!!!” *Happy dance* moments and one of those, “Seriously? As if I didn’t have a million other daily shopping temptations on my drive home.” Everything happens for a reason and I am so grateful I was able to find this precious little boxy winter (must have in EVERY COLOR) sweater. This is totally a teacher dress code essential!
I’m wearing an x-small and the boxy cut falls seamlessly on my petite frame and boxy sweaters and I don’t typically see eye to eye. This sweater comes in 6 colors– I just ordered red tahini and purple amethyst! This sweater definitely gives its shade a whole new meaning to pink smokeshow and is coming in hot at under $30! I can’t wait to pair it with a leather mini and some suede joggers!
I’ve also got to through this out there: THESE JEANS ARE UNDER $10!!! They’re jean jeggings from Target and surprisingly don’t get stretch out after a long days work of carpet reading and squatting to tiny human eye level. I’m loving mixing my summer wardrobe pieces with my fall finds– definitely saving my money towards my new Nordstrom Rack dilemma 😉
If you love this sweater as much as I do, hashtag #teacherdresscodefinds because I would LOVE to see how you’ve styled it!
Happy Shopping Saturday!
