My mind can’t stop thinking about ways to prevent these little printed slides from appearing on the “Rest In Peace, Buckley ate me!” shoe list. I try so hard to keep all my shoes out of my nasty *but sweet* little german wired hair pointers reach… but no matter how many doors I close, shoes I put up high, my favorites become casualties. I might turn one of my ottomans into a hidden bunker… the shoes could be safe! Well, as long as Buck-nasty doesn’t figure out how to open it… Yes… We call him Buck-nasty…. he’s such a nasty little guy, ha!
You know what’s the farthest thing from nasty? THAT THESE SANDALS ARE ONLY $19.99! They are a total knock off of Steve Madden’s Greece Sandal *I love how Target does that* and in my opinion, fit way better. I first saw these at Nordstrom, tried them on, and they felt a little loose… so I passed. Fast forward two months later to a romantic stroll around Target and I see these. Slipped them on and they fit perfectly (true to size). It’s strange… you would think the Target brand ones would be looser… Nope! The snugness is spot on!
It drives me crazy when I buy slide sandals and I have to awkwardly clinch my toes to keep them on. I only own one pair of sandals where the clinch is actually worth it. I wish there was a way to fix this problem… if you ever hear of a strategy, please, please, please let me know!
About a week or two ago I posted on my instagram stories that we were renovating our outdoor entertainment area. The teak wood floors are officially INSTALLED! We received a couple estimates… average price? $15,000… WHY IS BEING AN ADULT SO EXPENSIVE? Well… because who on earth has $15,000 dollars for a deck (and extending the privacy wall 3 feet…) my husband decided to complete the task himself. We saved $11,000 dollars… and it only took him about a week. If you’re looking to extend/add a patio to your yard, let me know and I will have my husband guest right a DIY post!
I’m obsessed with how our backyard is coming together. However… buying patio furniture is quite the challenge. That’s basically what I’ve been doing all day for the last 2 days. If you have any recommendations for on-line websites, please let them in the comments below! I’ve been stalking Joss & Main, Target, Overstock, and Pier 1… I know there’s gotta be others!
